Entry form for Miss Petite Blossom (5 mnths - 1 year), Miss Junior Blossom (2 - 4 years), Miss Blossom (5 - 8 years), Miss Pre-Teen (9 - 12 years), Miss Teen (13 - 17 years) and Miss Waterberg Windpompfees (18 - 24 years)
RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Entry fee of R 150, 00 per entrant. This entry fee is not refundable or redeemable.
2. Two coloured photographs should accompany this form. One head and shoulders, one full length.
3. An appointed professional photographer will be available the day of the event.
4. Closing date for ALL entries are Monday 16 April 2012 at 17:00.
5. Please Note:
a. Miss Petite Blossom, Miss Junior Blossom and Miss Blossom:
Dress Code: Casual- absolutely no frills, no dress-up of any kind.
b. Miss Blossom, Miss Pre-Teen, Miss Teen:
Dress Code: Denim with a White or Black top.
6. Hair Stylists and Make-up artists will be available, Touch-up only.
7. Participants and their parents/guardian consent to free usage by the organizers of photographs, personal information supplied in the registration form, video/television footage or likeness of participants, for promotional purposes of the project.
8. Beautiful Basics and/or Clio's Studio© shall be entitled to at any time request original documentation to verify any information supplied on the registration form.
9. Participants/parents/guardians indemnify the sponsors and organizers for any cost or damages whatsoever that might result from their participation in the project.
10. Participants undertake not to engage in any activity that may compromise the reputation of the project, organizers or sponsors. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant should her participation, in the exclusive discretion of the organizers, contravene this stipulation.
11. The judges' decision is final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
12. Contestants must be female, not married or have any children. The applicant must NOT be:
a. Engaged
b. Married
c. Never have been married or have a marriage annulled
d. Not be pregnant and never have given birth to a child
13. Winners in the previous year are not allowed to enter again for this year's competition, but may enter in the second year after the year in which they won.
14. No one is allowed to speak with the judges (unless spoken to), or have any contact with the judges at all. This will lead to immediate disqualification.
14. Any interference of a third party (be it a parent, friends or family) will lead to immediate disqualification.
15. Winners of the Miss Teen and Miss Waterberg(1, 2 and 3rd places) will be expected to do promotional work and charity work for the organizers and sponsors, in the year of their reign. A list of events will be emailed to them.
16. The organizers/employees/judges/sponsors will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injuries suffered during the competition.
17. NO bad language or bad behavior will be tolerated during or after the show. Contestants will be disqualified immediately.
18. PLEASE NOTE: No parents/guardians/friends/boyfriends/family will be allowed during pre-judging (only applicable for the Miss Waterberg)
19. Age appropriate make-up is allowed. No make-up for girls 12yrs and younger. Points will be deducted.
20. On the day of the event, contestants are required to introduce themselves to the public (only applicable for Miss Teen and Miss Waterberg). The entrant will need to make a 60 second introduction of herself. Each contestant must say the following:
a. Name
b. Age
c. Where she's from
d. Something interesting about herself
21. If the contestant wins and becomes the title holder and relinquishes this position for any reason, all prizes must be returned in FULL and in the condition received.
22. Contestants are NOT ALLOWED or have NO RIGHT, before, during or after the project, to make any press releases whatsoever, without the written consent of the organizers and written approval to the press before publishing.
23. Prizes are NOT redeemable for cash, transferable or exchangeable.
24. Under NO circumstances will any refunds be made.
Declaration:
By entering this pageant, the contestant agrees that she will accept the outcome and that the organizers/employees/judges will not be held responsible for any dissatisfaction with any aspect of this pageant.
That she understands and agrees that this pageant will be fair and professional, that scores will not be made available, that, should any one ofthe winners not adhere to the rules and contract agreement, they will be disqualified and must return their prizes immediately. A new winner will then be appointed.
Legal action can be taken against anyone that does not keep within the rules of this competition.
By submitting this entry form the entrant and her representatives, parent or guardian declares that they have read and fully understand the rules ofthis competition and agree to abide by them. They also declare that they understand that should the contestant not abide by the rules, it will lead to immediate disqualification.
Parents of the contestant commit themselves to upholding the rules of the competition and will not get involved in fighting, disruption or interference in any program or event in this competition, start or participate in any Crimen Injuria Act against the organizers, presenters, sponsors, employees or any organization or individual involved in this pageant, or make false accusations of any sort to any person. They also declare that they understand that if they have a problem, they are obligated to discuss the problem with the organizers first. If this is not done, all legal costs involved will be for their own account. I/we also accept that this competition is for our children only and Beautiful Basics and/or CIio's Studio© or the organisers of the Naboom Windpompfees will NOT change the rules to suit the parents.
